Philadelphia-based Crave Concepts Group is currently eyeing the Cherry Hill market for its latest franchised endeavor, Bonchon Chicken, with hopes to open a location sometime next year, according to Crave founder, Jung Ahn.

Ahn tells What Now Philadelphia that he’s “really excited to bring the brand to the Cherry Hill market.”

Bonchon – or “my hometown” in Korean – was founded in Busan, South Korea in 2002 by Jinduk Seo, who “dreamed of sharing his favorite flavors with the world,” according to the company’s website.

In no uncertain terms, Seo has made good on that dream with Bonchon outposts located in the US and across Asia including Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.

The company specializes in not only Korean fried chicken but also pork buns, Korean tacos, bibimbap, and other regional favorites such as chicken katsu, bulgogi, and japchae.
