The summer breeze is blowing something fresh and new into Wayne this year. Burtons Grill & Bar is bringing its unique approach to the great American pub to the region (and making its Pennsylvania debut) next month.

Local foodies will be able to grab a bite at the restaurant’s new home at 312 West Lancaster Avenue. Burtons will have 5,167 square feet to greet its Wayne customers; that space will be able to accommodate 152 customers indoors, and another 24 on an outdoor patio.

While a precise opening date is not yet announced, a press release provided to What Now Philadelphia states that Burtons is aiming to open by mid-June.

Burtons Grill & Bar chief executive officer John Haggai explains that he and the Burtons teams are enthusiastic about bringing the chain’s menu and ethos to Wayne. He states: “We are a restaurant group that is growing, but still grounded on a simple yet profound principle — to always put quality first. Each Burtons Grill & Bar opens with the mission of working hand-in-hand with the community in which it operates, and we couldn’t be more excited to join the Wayne community this summer.”

Wayne diners can look forward to enjoying a highly customizable menu. The concept wants to ensure that every visitor enjoys their meal and it is not about to let dietary restrictions stand in the way of serving up delicious cuisine. The restaurant takes pride in accommodating all diets and providing alternatives for those with food allergies.

Guests will be able to select from a wide range of pub classics and new favorites, including: Crab-Crusted Haddock, Lobster Roll, Superfood Salad, and Mediterranean Chicken Risotto. Customers can wash their meals down with a drink chosen from an impressive beverage program, described as: “a highly curated selection of wine and craft beer. Specialty cocktails, such as Blueberry Hibiscus (blueberry-infused Tito’s handmade vodka, house-made hibiscus lemonade) and Paloma Rosa (blanco tequila, grapefruit, lime, prosecco rosé) take center stage, as well as beautifully crafted mocktails for all guests to enjoy.”
