A restaurant chain will open its first location in New Jersey, marking the brand’s debut in the Garden State next year.

Burtons Grill & Bar is coming to Parsippany, debuting in District 15Fifteen at 1501 NJ-10.

“It’s the perfect spot for us–love the center, love the development. We love to be in a spot where people gather, shop, and dine,” CEO John Haggai told What Now Philadelphia. “We’ve been looking for a couple of years. It’s been really difficult to find the right spot. This will be our first in New Jersey, so we’re really excited.”

Schorn Construction Co., Inc. will oversee the development of the upcoming site.

“We are excited to announce that our next @burtons.grill in Parsippany, NJ will be starting soon!  Permits are in and we anticipate beginning this project in early January ’26.  We look forward to sharing updates on this exciting new location!” the company shared via Instagram.

The Parsippany restaurant will mirror other Burtons locations but introduce its own unique touch.

“It’ll be unmistakably Burtons. We love to have elements that convey across the brand, but in each community, every Burtons is different. We like to match the community, the center, the vibe. There will be some twists and turns on the design,” Haggai said.

Burtons offers an all-day menu with sharable appetizers, salads, sandwiches, fresh seafood, prime steaks and classic American entrees. The restaurant also has a brunch menu, a gluten-free menu and happy hour specials, including $9 bar bites.

Some of the restaurant’s classic entrees include braised short ribs with cabernet au jus, bacon Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes; chicken piccata with angel hair pasta, spinach and capers in a lemon butter sauce; and pappardelle Bolognese with fresh pasta, traditional meat sauce, Parmesan, Italian parsley and garlic ciabatta toast.

The restaurant offers a curated cocktail program along with beer and wine options.

“What stands us apart is we’re a scratch kitchen and we’re known for being allergy friendly. It’s a big part of our business. We’ve been able to nail that where the food is phenomenal but also we have a very inclusive offering where you can cater and navigate through the menu the way you need,” he said.

Haggai said the team expects Burtons to debut in summer 2026

“If the stars align, we will be opening right in the early summer with a beautiful patio and killer bar–good stuff, good times,” he said.

Burtons currently has locations in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The new Parsippany location will expand the chain’s presence.
