Come spring 2023, Cafe Lift – the all-day every day brunch spot that’s been operating out of a refurbished factory in Callowhill since 2003 – will be relocating to a larger space with more seating and an expanded kitchen at 1134 Spring Garden Street.
According to co-owner Michael Pasquarello, the relocation is simply a matter of necessity. “Fortunately or unfortunately we’ve just outgrown our space that we’re currently in,” Pasquarello tells What Now Philadelphia.
With a bigger kitchen, Pasquarello says the menu at Philadelphia’s Cafe Lift will include a few more items, more closely resembling the menu at their Haddonfield, New Jersey location. Similarly, the design choices for the Haddonfield outpost represent the “next phase of Cafe Lift.”
Cafe Lift – which is part of the larger 13th Street Kitchens restaurant group – was founded nearly a decade ago by Pasquarello and wife Jeniphur. The cafe features a menu that “evolves seasonally and all ingredients are sourced from responsible growers, and hyper-locally whenever possible,” according to the restaurant’s website.
13th Street Kitchens’ other brands include Prohibition Tap Room, La Chinesca, Kensington Quarters, and KQ Burger.
