A popular Philly food truck is trading its wheels for a brick and mortar. Chewy’s, owned and founded by Charlie Sokowski, will be making its permanent home in Spring House later this year, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The eatery, known for its smoked meats, will be setting up shop at 924 North Bethlehem Pike in the space last occupied by Rich’s Other Place. Details about Chewy’s brick and mortar location are sparse; an opening date is not currently available.

Chewy’s has been a Philly favorite since bursting onto the food truck scene in 2011. The restaurant’s menu emphasizes nourishing comfort food. The website describes it, stating “Charlie pulls inspiration from his family’s cooking, kitchens from his past, and his travels around the country.”

It is unclear if the Spring House location’s menu will deviate in any way from the food truck’s. Chewy’s will likely continue its focus on smoked meats, burgers, fried chicken, and filling breakfast foods.
