DeeGrace Kitchen, the popular eatery owned by Adeola “Dee” Ileyemi, is set to reopen its doors soon.
“GET READY, PHILLY! DeeGrace Kitchen is shaking things up in the city! Not only are we opening soon, but we’re also introducing a BRAND NEW MENU and an AMAZING TEAM of culinary rockstars! Stay tuned for mouthwatering updates, sneak peeks, and more!” the eatery shared via Instagram.
DeeGrace Kitchen was formerly located at 7782 Montgomery Ave. in Elkins Park. The reopening announcement drew a few supportive comments, including “Congratulations!!!” and “We miss you.”
Ileyemi earned a culinary degree from Midway Culinary School at Cincinnati State College and moved from Ohio to Philadelphia in 2019, according to Glenside Local.
The former location served scratch-made dishes including pizza, shrimp, cheesesteaks, quesadillas, fish and chicken. An Instagram video of the new location shows a poster reading “soul food” and pizza boxes on shelves, hinting some favorites may return.
The video also shows the space lots with color, featuring periwinkle walls, greenery, floral and butterfly accents, and pops of yellow.
DeeGrace Kitchen hasn’t announced an official opening date or address yet, however follow along on Instagram for updates.
