With no shade towards the undeniable charms of lunch and dinner, breakfast is the meal that sets the entire tone of the day. Whether it manifests as a piping hot stack of pancakes or a brunch burger, the first meal of the day is, indeed, the most important. An expanding national chain with its heart firmly in daytime dining is getting ready to help ensure Lewes enjoys a hearty and satisfying brunch or breakfast. First Watch, known for its elevated but relatable fare, is opening a new location in the neighborhood later this year, reports local media outlet Delaware Online.

The eatery will be filling the void left by Bob Evans when it closed this April. First Watch has big shoes to fill; Bob Evans had occupied the storefront at 34571 Postal Lane for nearly 27 years. However the chain is certain to be up to the challenge- the restaurant makes sure that every dish on its menu is made fresh and delicious. First Watch also features an array of seasonal selections designed to take advantage of in-season produce.

While it is not precisely established yet when exactly Lewes locals will be able to stop in for a delicious wake-up, First Watch does intend to be open in the region at some point in late 2025.
