The Fishtown dining scene is kicking off 2025 with delicious salads, served quickly and conveniently. Sweetgreen is opening its neighborhood location in mid-January.

The popular concept, known for healthier alternatives to fast-casual fare, will hold a soft opening of its 1351 Frankford Avenue location on January 15, followed by a public launch on the 21. Guests can register to claim a free introductory meal on the 15 or 16.

Sweetgreen will be moving into a newly erected building situated directly next to a forthcoming Shake Shack. The two fast-casual juggernauts will be part of a mixed-use complex called the Fishtown Collective.

Sweetgreen will be joining an increasingly vibrant Philadelphia community; Fishtown has become a hotspot for restaurants and retail in recent years, attracting a great deal of attention and talent.

The concept, based in DC, has established itself as a prominent presence in the fast-casual market. Sweetgreen’s menu offers warm bowls and salads, as well as seasonal options that rotate 5 times annually.
