Every town and city thinks it has the best burger-and they all may be right. The beloved sandwich lends itself to reinvention and personal interpretations, allowing plenty of wiggle room and subcategories when it comes to just what “the best” is. However, burger aficionados know that often it’s the smaller chains that really know their ways around a grill. Ardmore is about to get a taste of one of the best burger concepts in the Philadelphia market. Gouldsburger’s is bringing its fan-favorite fare to the neighborhood later this year, reports local media outlet Philly Grub.
While not fantastically precise, the restaurant’s official social media currently lists its upcoming storefront as “right near Suburban Square”. This will put Gouldsburger’s right on the Main Line, a location that’s certain to attract a great deal of traffic, hungry for a superior burger. Husband-and-wife franchising duo Mike O’Leary and Samantha Sandoz will be ready to serve up Gouldsburger’s celebrated cuisine in September.
Don’t be fooled by the name; Gouldsburger’s is more than just burgers (though the chain certainly knows its way around that particular dish). Customers in the mood for something besides the titular classic can choose from crispy chicken sandwiches or strips, an assortment of cheesesteaks (including a portobello option for vegetarian visitors), and a wide range of innovative, grass-fed hot dogs.
Gouldsburger’s opening is bound to cause a great deal of excitement among Ardmore foodies, eager to join other New Jersey and Philly-area burger fans in the know. Speaking about its seventh location on its official Instagram account, Gouldsburger’s states: “We’re beyond excited to announce that Gouldsburgers is coming to Suburban Square—September 2025! Get ready to experience the best burgers, cheesesteaks, grass-fed beef hot dogs, and crispy chicken sandwiches—all made with premium ingredients like USDA Prime beef and our scratch-made sauces.”
