Honeygrow, one of Philadelphia’s fastest growing restaurant chains, is adding a sixth New Jersey location to its empire. The establishment, celebrated for its healthier interpretations of fast-casual stir-fries, is coming to the Ocean County Mall this fall, reports local media outlet Real Estate NJ.
The corporate-owned franchise will be making its home at 1200 Hooper Avenue, becoming a neighbor to On the Border and P.F. Changs. An official opening date has not yet been announced, however the company states it hopes to begin welcoming guests in late fall.
Speaking of the company’s newest Jersey location, Honeygrow founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg states “Expanding our presence in central New Jersey is a natural extension as we bridge the gap between our southern and northern New Jersey restaurants.” adding “We’re actively engaged in finding more opportunities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.”
Rosenberg founded Honeygrow in Philadelphia in 2012. The restaurant’s nutritious twists on made-to-order stir-fries quickly gained popularity, allowing the chain to expand to 33 locations spread between Boston and Virginia.
Honeygrow’s menu features five permanent stir-fry recipes, as well as one seasonal option, and six salads. Additionally, the establishment allows customers to create their own dishes, selecting a protein, mix-ins, and sauces.
