Philadelphia-based stir-fry and salad concept, Honeygrow, announced earlier this week that it secured a lease for a 2,500-square-foot space at 2490 Lincoln Hwy in Langhorne’s Lincoln Plaza shopping center.

“Lincoln Plaza is a dynamic shopping center, and the location is a natural next step for Honeygrow to strengthen our brand presence in suburban markets,” Justin Rosenberg, Founder, and CEO of Honeygrow said in a statement. “We are thrilled to introduce this new community to Honeygrow, and our goal is to build a restaurant team in Langhorne that will continue to exceed our guests’ expectations in providing wholesome, craveable, and memorable meals.”

A representative of Honeygrow did not immediately return What Now Philadelphia’s request for more information regarding an opening timeline.

News of the lease negotiation – which saw Michael Gorman and Scott Benson of Metro Commercial representing Honeygrow in the transaction – was first announced last November, however, at the time there were no details on where the location might be. Similarly, in that same report, it was noted that the company was also eyeing the Harrisburg area.

Nevertheless, according to the press release from earlier this week, Langhorne is expected to be Honeygrow’s 37th location, with more than a dozen others slated to open this year.

Honeygrow was founded in 2012 and has since cornered the local quick-service stir-fry market, with a create-your-own option as well as signature items such as the Garlic Butter Chicken featuring freshly made egg white noodles, roasted chicken, snow peas, scallions, mushrooms, toasted sesame seeds, chili crisps, and garlic butter sauce, or the brown rice-based Sweet Soy Five Spice with turkey meatballs, green beans, red onions, and sesame seeds.

In addition to stir-fry, the restaurant also whips up salads and honeybars – a variety of desserts with fresh fruit, garnish, and honey drizzle.

“We pride ourselves on being a team of creatives – from our product to our stores and tech design – yet nothing gets us more excited than gorgeous food, sourced intelligently and having our guests leave happy,” the company writes on its official website, adding, “Though we got our start in Philadelphia in 2012, we are committed to connecting with every community we serve in meaningful and sustainable ways.”
