Seth & Co. Special Brew, a non-profit coffee shop that employs baristas with special needs, is set to open its next two outposts – one at 13 S Bank St in downtown Easton in the next couple of weeks, and a third at Lehigh Valley International Airport by late winter, early spring 2023 – according to local media outlet WFMZ

Seth & Co. was founded in 2020 by Desiree McMullan, who noticed a dearth of job opportunities for neurodivergent individuals such as her son and the company’s namesake Seth.

“With our coffee company, we were really just looking to create a more inclusive working environment for Seth and others like him,” McMullan told WFMZ. “These are fully capable people, who are ready and willing to work. They just need to be given the chance.”

A representative of Seth & Co. did not immediately return a request for comment.

While the business’ first location is housed in Palmer Park Mall’s Pretzels Plus, the Easton shop will take up residence in Love Blossoms Flowers & Gifts, complete with “seating for about 10 customers, a newly constructed counter, and a new espresso machine,” according to WFMZ.

The menu across all locations features espresso drinks, drip coffee, nitro and cold brews, as well as homemade baked goods including cookies, muffins, cakes, and scones.

“The Lehigh Valley community has really welcomed us with open arms,” said McMullan, “and we’re so excited to be spreading our mission along with our delicious coffee to more people.”
