The Garden State is about to get a little sweeter.

The Philadelphia-based cookie chain Insomnia Cookies is preparing to open four new locations in Westfield, Jersey City, Montclair and Red Bank, according to NJ.com.

The new outposts will join the brand’s existing New Jersey locations in Cherry Hill, Ewing, Glassboro, Hoboken and New Brunswick.

The news follows Insomnia’s plans to expand globally, with a goal of opening 1,800 stores over the next decade through an expanded partnership with Verlinvest and Mistral Equity Partners, a press release reported.

“We’re united by a shared vision: to establish Insomnia as the undisputed leader in the indulgence category. With this support, we’re poised to rapidly scale and deliver more warm, delicious cookies to Insomniacs around the world,” Founder Seth Berkowitz said in a statement.

Berkowitz founded the late-night cookie chain in 2003 from his University of Pennsylvania dorm room to satisfy students’ late-night dessert cravings.

Insomnia’s menu features classic cookies like chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, sugar, oatmeal raisin and white chocolate macadamia.

The chain also offers deluxe options such as s’mores, salted caramel and chocolate peanut butter cup. Other treats include brownies, blondies, brookies, cookie cakes and ice cream. Customers can build their own cookie ice cream sandwiches or order a warm cookie delivered straight to their door.

Insomnia Cookies operates more than 300 locations across the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

Official opening dates have not been announced. The website currently lists the upcoming cookie shops as “coming soon.” For updates, visit the company’s website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
