An award-winning Pennsylvania brewery is preparing to pour out a cold one for the Temple community. Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant has announced that it’s third Philly location will be opening in the area, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The well-loved eatery will be setting up shop at 1700 North Broad Street. The announcement is hot off the presses; as of December 18, 2024, Iron Hill has signed a letter of intent establishing its plans for the location, however an opening timeline is not yet available.

The restaurant will be moving into a space that previously housed a University bookstore. The location will allow Iron Hill to attract an impressive cross-section of the Philadelphia community; it is strategically placed to draw in college students, faculty, local workers, and regular residents.

Mark Edelson, Iron Hill’s founder, sees the opening as a chance to greet a fresh community. He states “This is an exciting opportunity for us to partner with a leading Philadelphia institution like Temple and introduce our award-winning beer and food to new audiences.”
