A local restaurant group is preparing to change the way West Chester dines out. 3 West Hospitality will soon be introducing the region to its latest concept, Jolene’s, reports local media outlet Main Line Today.

The new restaurant will be lending an air of refinement to 29 East Gay Street when it opens later this year. General manager Jordan Patterson offers What Now Philadelphia a sneak peak at what future customers can expect from Jolene’s, explaining that the eatery is bringing something distinct and necessary to the market. He states: “3 West Hospitality group is proud to introduce our fifth and newest concept, Jolene’s, to the Philadelphia suburbs. Located in West Chester Borough, Jolene’s will offer an upscale but inviting dining experience to a community that is yearning for something new and exciting.”

The Gay Street space has a history of fine dining-a legacy Jolene’s intends to honor with its own, unique approach. Patterson explains: “The building was once home to one of West Chester’s original and best known eating establishments dating back to 1874, Spence’s Oyster and Eating Saloon .With an emphasis on impeccable hospitality, Jolene’s will offer a modern menu infused with classic French influence, alongside a thoughtfully curated wine program, as well as refined cocktail, liquor, and beer selections.”

Jolene’s will be able to accommodate about 130 guests, including a bar area with space for around 30 customers. Visitors can look forward to feasting on delicious, carefully prepared meals. Speaking of the restaurant’s dishes, Patterson says “ The menu is still in the works, but will feature modern takes on French cuisine, as well as some expected classics-escargot, French onion soup, etcetera.”

Construction is currently underway, and Patterson states that patrons will be able to begin sampling Jolene’s fare in late summer or early autumn.
