Call it fate, call it destiny, just don’t call it late for dinner. Kismet Bagels, one of the Philadelphia region’s most rapidly expanding concepts, is opening a new location in Collingswood later this year, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The eatery, which will adhere to the chain’s luncheonette model, will be opening at 474 North Haddon Avenue. Kismet Bagels owners Jacob and Alexandra Cohen are shooting for an April opening for the carb haven.

Kismet has already established itself as a name to be watched in the Philadelphia dining scene; the brand, launched by husband and wife team Jacob and Alexandra as a reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, is actively courting considerable growth.

The small but formidable chain currently has four locations across the Philly metro area-including storefronts in Rittenhouse Square, Fishtown, Reading Terminal Market, and Lower Merion. The brand has big plans for growth in 2025, developing eateries in Manayunk, Ventnor, and Chestnut Hill, in addition to the Collingswood location.

While Kismet is well-known for its meticulously crafted bagels, the new Collingswood eatery will follow the brand’s luncheonette model, allowing guests to choose from a wider menu. Foodies will be able to enjoy the bagels they’ve come to know and love, while also indulging in bagel and deli sandwiches and pizza bagels.
