The King of Prussia dining scene is about to get a little cozier. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, known for its lodge-inspired atmosphere and menu full of comfort food favorites, is making its Pennsylvania debut in the region early next year, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The eatery is bringing its Rocky Mountain vibes to the former home of Fox & Hound, located at 160 North Gulph Road, #211. While the chain initially anticipated opening its King of Prussia location in late 2024, Lazy Dog now intends to begin greeting customers in 2025.

Speaking of the KOP restaurant, CEO and founder Chris Simms states: “We’re thrilled to join the growing and vibrant community of King of Prussia. Lazy Dog has been received with open arms as we’ve joined new neighborhoods and we can’t wait to be part of the community.”

Lazy Dog will provide diners with a warm and welcoming environment. A press release provided to What Now Philadelphia describes the ambiance, stating: “Designed to feel like a Rocky Mountain Wyoming escape, Lazy Dog’s warm interior will be complete with lodge-inspired furnishings such as fireplaces, ledge stone, a chandelier crafted from Aspen logs and artwork reminiscent of the Cowboy State. A large outdoor patio will be built around a cozy fire pit for gatherings with friends and family.”

The menu, described as “comfort food with a twist”, will spotlight seasonal ingredients, craft beers, and hand-crafted cocktails. Future regulars can look forward to enjoying weekend brunches and happy hour specials.
