New Jersey foodies will soon be able to enjoy a delicious meal in the ambient environment of the Rocky Mountains, without needing to book a flight. Lazy Dog Restaurants will be opening its first Garden State location in Moorestown next year, reports local media outlet WPST.

The concept, which strives to capture the feel and charm of a mountain resort, will be opening in East Gate Square at 1361 Nixon Drive. According to a press release provided to What Now Philadelphia, Lazy Dog will be taking over the 9,354 square foot pad which formerly housed Don Pablo’s.

The restaurant’s interior will be able to accommodate up to 190 guests, while an outdoor patio will provide seating for 60 customers. Lazy Dog’s design emphasizes comfort and warmth. The patio will feature a large fire pit.

The restaurant’s menu highlights comfort food made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. The bar will feature craft cocktails and craft beers.

Chris Simms, Lazy Dog’s founder and CEO, expresses enthusiasm about bringing the restaurant to New Jersey, stating “We look forward to bringing our concept of delicious food, warm hospitality and small mountain-town vibes to Moorestown. Lazy Dog has been received with open arms as we’vejoined new neighborhoods, and we can’t wait to be part of this community.”

The press release states that Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar will begin greeting customers in 2025.
