The Local G.O.A.T. will be bringing comforting pub fair and superior cocktails to Gloucester Township this summer reports local media outlet, 42 Freeway. The restaurant, set to take over the space vacated by the Tilted Kilt, hopes to open its doors in June.
Husband and wife duo, Alisha and Jay Miller, will be running the restaurant at 645 Berlin Cross Keys Road.
The Millers currently own and manage two Rack’s Pub and Grills, located in Williamston and Atco.
The Millers have completely refurbished the facility. In addition to new tables and furnishings, the Local G.O.A.T. has a fresh paint job, highlighting the restaurant’s logo colors. The new color scheme heavily features black, white, and red.
The Local G.O.A.T. will encapsulate the essence of a beloved local bar. In addition to celebrated national brews, the establishment will feature local beers from nearby breweries.
The Local G.O.A.T. will emphasize traditional pub fair, including a signature buttermilk chicken recipe. Miller states that the restaurant plans to work with local merchants and farmers to source supplies and ingredients.
The Millers and company are currently preparing the location for opening, clearing out the detritus from the Tilted Kilt.
