The team behind Libertee Grounds is set to debut a new bar next year.

Priyank Rambhia, Sanil Shah and Kanay Patel are joining forces with Sidecar Bar and Grill owner Mike Metzger to launch Lucky Duck. The tavern is planned for the ground floor of the newly built Rivermark Northern Liberties apartment complex, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

“Given the location, we’re looking to create a concept that acts as a year-round neighborhood bar, not just a seasonal getaway or destination,” Rambhia told the outlet.

Lucky Duck will feature a rustic design with dark wood, warm tones and modern art accents. The space will seat 135 guests indoors, with room for up to 250 including a sprawling outdoor area for warmer months. Floor-to-ceiling bay windows will frame sweeping views of the Delaware River and the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Metzger and Shah will lead the food program, featuring tavern favorites, shareable small plates, and a North Jersey–style pizza bar. A late-night window inside the bar will keep the slices coming after hours. Guests can expect classic and waterfront-inspired cocktails, a curated wine list and what’s promised to be a “top-tier” Guinness pour.

While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the team is targeting an early 2026 opening.

What Now Philadelphia reached out to the Lucky Duck owners, however, they have not yet responded. This article may be updated.
