The restaurant famous for hand-cut steaks and warm rolls with honey cinnamon butter is coming to New Jersey next year.
Texas Roadhouse plans to open at 970 NJ-73 in Marlton on February 2, the restaurant’s website reads.
The new outpost will offer Texas Roadhouse’s classic fare and hearty, Texas-sized combos. Guests can choose their own steak from a display case for the chef to cook to order.
The restaurant’s vintage, rustic décor features wooden accents, and country music fills the air, sometimes accompanied by staff line-dancing or rowdy birthday shoutouts.

Texas Roadhouse, whose tagline is “Legendary Food, Legendary Service,” was founded in 1993 by Kent Taylor in Clarksville, Indiana. Taylor aimed to create a place where guests of all ages could enjoy scratch-made food in a fun, lively atmosphere. Since then, the company has expanded with two offshoot brands: Bubba’s 33 and Jaggers, according to the website.
The Marlton location is currently hiring for several positions, including silverware roller, bartender, server, host and restaurant administrative assistant. The location opens noon to 10 p.m. Sundays; 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 3 to 11 p.m. Fridays; and noon to 11 p.m. Saturdays.
Texas Roadhouse runs seven New Jersey locations and will add the Marlton spot to the growing list.
