Buzz is in the air!

Michael Schulson, the acclaimed chef behind some of Philadelphia’s hottest restaurants, is set to unveil three new dining concepts in the city, further expanding his culinary empire, Philadelphia Business Journal reported.

Schulson, the force behind the Schulson Collective, oversees 13 restaurants in Philadelphia. His popular spots include Alpen Rose, a boutique steakhouse; Harp & Crown, a New American eatery in Center City; Giuseppe & Sons, an Italian restaurant in Rittenhouse; and the Double Knot.

The Double Knot, a two-story Japanese izakaya serving sushi, robatayaki and signature cocktails, also operates a location in Miami. The group plans to expand the restaurant to New York City, according to the group’s website.

Schulson has appeared on TLC’s Ultimate Cake Off and Style Network’s Pantry Raid, as well as Fox News, TODAY, The Rachael Ray Show and The View. His work has earned praise from The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Magazine.

The restaurateur has not revealed details of the new concepts, but they are set to debut in 2026.

Philadelphia will also host major events in 2026, including the MLB All-Star Game, FIFA World Cup, NCAA Men’s March Madness and the PGA Championship, according to Visit Philadelphia.

Schulson told the outlet he is developing strategies to accommodate the influx of diners expected at his restaurants, while ensuring hours remain unchanged and staff are not overworked.
