After changing the face of the Asbury Park taco scene, a local concept is turning its tortillas towards Long Branch. MOGO Korean Fusion Tacos is bringing its unique combination of cultures and flavors to the neighborhood, reports local media outlet Asbury Park Press.

The distinctive taqueria will be debuting its second location at 10 Centennial Drive. Construction is underway on the space, which previously housed the Corner Cafe and Bistro. An exact opening date is not currently available, however MOGO is aiming to greet guests in the first quarter of 2025.

MOGO-which is the Korean word for “eat”-has already established itself as an Asbury Park favorite. The eatery’s website offers this glimpse at what makes the concept so special, saying “Our simple yet diverse menu blends high quality meats, fish or tofu, seasoned in our special homemade Korean marinades, with fresh produce tossed in our unique homemade Korean dressings. The carefully paired meats, fish, or tofu and salad combinations are served on a fresh flour tortilla for easy mobility.”

MOGO’s upcoming Pier Village location will feature the same menu as its current Cookman Avenue home. Future regulars can look forward to enjoying an impressive selection of tacos, burritos, and bowls, as well as selections from a kimchi bar.
