North Coventry residents will soon be able to enjoy some of the world’s favorite coffee drinks during their morning commutes. Starbucks is preparing to open a new cafe at the Suburbia Shopping Center.

The globally beloved coffee chain will be moving into a newly constructed 2,230 square foot building located at 14 Glocker Way. The Starbucks will feature a drive-thru for customers in a rush. A precise opening timeline is not currently available, however the company has posted that it’s hiring for positions at the store.

With storefronts in the Upland Square shopping center, Royersford, Gilbertsville, Phoenixville, Oaks, and Collegeville, the chain has a relatively strong presence in the general area already.

Starbucks has remained the greatest contender in the fast-casual coffee business since its inception in 1971. The company plans to continue its growth by adapting to the market and modifying its stores, focusing more heavily on pick-up, drive-thru, and delivery focused locations.
