The new, yet-to-be-named restaurant formerly known as Baggataway Tavern will be located at 31 Front St, West Conshohocken, PA 19428, according to co-owner Chris Magarity. Although Magarity agreed to speak with What Now Philly, he did not immediately provide specifics as to when the new establishment might launch.
Baggataway’s former owners purchased the venue in 2005. Before it became the now-defunct tavern, it “had long been Cunningham’s Court, [owned by] Sixers legend Billy Cunningham. Cunningham had opened Cunnigham’s Court in 1987.” It’s currently unclear what the space will be transformed into as Magarity confirmed the purchase but has not yet divulged particulars to What Now Philly.
Jasper’s Backyard offers an array of standard, American eats like burgers, salads, and protein-based entrees. However, they also have a section called the “Potato Patch” which features several exciting takes on the starchy side-dish. One Potato Patch item called Conshy Crab Fries comes topped with lump crab and pepper jack mornay sauce. If the new eatery/watering hole coming to the former Baggataway Tavern is anything like Jasper’s Backyard, Conshohocken is in for a tremendous treat.
