Philadelphia-based fast-casual chain Honeygrow is planning a major expansion in 2026.
The company plans to open 18 new locations, targeting sites in New Jersey, Middletown, Del., Ohio and Boston. It is also negotiating in the Detroit market while continuing to look for opportunities in Philadelphia, founder Justin Rosenberg told The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Honeygrow typically seeks 2,500-square-foot locations and targets areas where other popular fast-casual brands such as Chick-fil-A, Chipotle and Starbucks perform well, because they attract a similar clientele.
Honeygrow finished 2025 strong, adding 17 new restaurants and bringing its total to 71 locations.
Rosenberg founded Honeygrow in 2012, after first developing the idea in 2009 while working full time and earning his MBA at Temple University, according to the website.
The brand centers on high-quality food, with a menu built around customizable stir-fry, salads and signature honeybars–a sweet treat.
Standout dishes include the garlic butter chicken stir-fry, made with fresh egg noodles, roasted chicken, snow peas, scallions, mushrooms, toasted sesame seeds, chili crisp and garlic butter sauce, and the OG Cobb salad with chopped romaine, roasted chicken, hard-boiled egg, crispy bacon, apples, grape tomatoes, avocado and crumbled blue cheese served with white balsamic vinaigrette.
Honeygrow has not announced official locations or opening dates, but follow along on Instagram and Facebook or visit its website for updates.
