State College breakfasts are about to get an upgrade. Bagels & Co., the popular Philadelphia-based concept, will be adding a little extra pep to the most important meal of the day next year.
The new bakery will be opening at 330 West College Avenue. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Centre Daily Times explains that co-owner Mike Marsh is planning for an opening later this year or early next. He states “We are planning to open near the end of this calendar year, but pending construction time, we may open in January. We may even wait for the start of the spring semester.”
While State College diners may be uncertain about how soon they’ll be able to sample Bagels & Co.’s delicious carbs, the culinary delights will be worth the wait. The bakery offers a wide range of bagels in both traditional and unconventional flavors. Diners will also have an impressive selection of cream cheeses to choose from.
Bagels & Co. will be open from 7 am to 3 pm, 7 days a week.
