A Northampton County favorite is bringing gourmet pizza and craft beer to Bethlehem this summer. Pints & Pies will be opening its second location at 21 East Elizabeth Avenue in August, reports 69 News.
Pints & Pies already has one wildly popular location at 2049 Northampton Street in Wilson.
Co-owners John Kehm and Jose Pinargote are dramatically renovating the space that most recently housed 21 Crafthouse and Kitchen. Kehm states “There’s new lighting, tile work, flat-screen TVs, two new bars, granite countertops and tap systems. We also completely redid the kitchen and basement. We ran into some hiccups with it just being an older building, but we pushed through the headaches. And rather than putting a Band-Aid on some things, we decided to tear them apart and fix them the right way.”
Kehm expresses enthusiasm for the new, prime Bethlehem location, saying “Just like our Wilson location, the Bethlehem location is on a main thoroughfare in a similar neighborhood with residential housing all around. We love that because we love being a part of the community where we operate.”
The restaurant will provide table seating for 75 to 80 customers as well as bar seating for 40 patrons. Pints & Pies will offer outdoor accommodations for around 30 guests. Kehm and Pinargote intend to use heaters to make the outdoor eating area open year long.
Pints & Pies specializes in fresh and unique pizzas, such as the Cheeseburger Pie and the Godfather Pie. Kehm sites the Pub Pie as a customer favorite. The bar will feature approximately 100 craft and domestic beers.
