Philadelphia is a city of great opportunity and great taste. A North Jersey Mexican chain has grand plans to pursue the former by catering to the latter. Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen is looking to spread its delicious brand of authentic fare to the Philly suburbs, with several neighborhoods in its sights, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Co-owner Vishal Patel explains to What Now Philadelphia that the Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen team has been hoping to enter the Philly market for quite some time. The chain had previously attempted to find a home in University City and Center City, but couldn’t locate an appropriate space. However, the brand has enjoyed considerable success in South Jersey, making the suburbs an appealing next step.
Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen is specifically looking into Moorestown in New Jersey and the Main Line, Conshohocken, King of Prussia, Willow Grove, and Doylestown as future prospective homes. Ownership is focusing on populous areas with ample foot traffic to set up base.
Patel and his friend and business partner Chuck Patel launched the first Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen in 2016. The restaurant has garnered a considerable fan base owing to both its superior cuisine and its incredibly warm atmosphere and optimistic approach to service. Patel states that the concept is all about positivity. “We’re big on just positive words and actions.” he says. “You’ll be greeted with a smile.”
