Sizzling cheesesteaks and juicy burgers are on their way to Pennsauken. The Raging Bull, from restaurateur Eric Adili, is set to open this fall at 6007 Mansion Blvd.
“Cheesesteaks have kind of had a renaissance. Everyone has their unique take on the sandwich and smash burgers is just another thing I wanted to do. There’s not a ton of places that do them in the area I’m opening in,” Adili told What Now Philadelphia.
The shop will source its bread locally from Liscio’s Bakery, a well-known New Jersey institution celebrated for its fresh, high-quality loaves. In a move setting it apart from many fast-casual spots, Raging Bull will prepare its menu using beef tallow rather than seed oils, a choice aimed at delivering a cleaner approach.
“I run a clean restaurant, everything I season is with salt and pepper,” Adili said. “It’s not anything out of the ordinary but it will be delicious because I’m keeping it unique to what I do.”
Adili said he looks forward to welcoming customers and having them experience the food.
“Cheesesteaks and burgers are such popular items that no matter if people have gotten them at another place, they’re always willing to try a new place,” Adili said. “I’m excited in that sense because it does give the opportunity to win some loyal customers.”
The shop’s interior will feature a red, white and black color scheme. Designed primarily for delivery and takeout, it will also offer bar seating for customers who choose to dine in.
Having previously owned The Fat Tomato in West Berlin, Adili’s first Raging Bull location introduces a simpler restaurant concept he hopes to expand in the future.
“I wanted to make something that was easily reproducible in multiple stores if I open another place down the line,” he said.
Although the shop does not have a set opening date, Adili is targeting mid-September. For updates, visit the website and follow The Raging Bull on Instagram and Facebook.
