Marlton is the site of Raising Cane’s latest New Jersey conquest. The rapidly expanding chicken chain is constructing a new location on Route 70, reports local media outlet 42 Freeway.

Raising Cane’s first received approval from the Evesham zoning board to erect a restaurant at 800 Route 70 West in August of 2022. A year later, construction has finally begun on the location.

Raising Cane’s has plans to open four locations across New Jersey before the end of the year. In addition to the Marlton restaurant, the chain will be opening in Cherry Hill, Burlington, and Deptford.

Raising Cane’s has not yet announced an official opening date for the Marlton location. However, the basic structure has been erected, and the chain is recruiting staff for the restaurant.

Founded in Louisiana in 1996, Raising Cane’s focuses on chicken fingers. The restaurant currently has 705 locations globally.

Raising Cane’s guests can choose between chicken fingers and chicken sandwiches. Fans of the restaurant particularly love its signature Cane sauce. Visitors can complete their meals with sides of coleslaw or crinkle fries.
