Raising Cane’s, the unstoppable chicken juggernaut, is coming to Northeast Philadelphia. The hugely successful chain will be opening a location in the renovated Roosevelt Mall, reports The Philadelphia Business Journal.
Raising Cane’s is expected to occupy 3,000 square feet in the redeveloped shopping center, located at 2329 Cottman Avenue. The area dedicated to the restaurant is being built fresh over underused sections of the mall.
Roosevelt Mall’s developer, Brixmor Property Group, hopes to use the strategic placement of Raising Cane’s near Cottman Avenue to help create a “Main Street” that will draw customers into the vast shopping establishment.
No opening date has been set, but Brixmor anticipates opening Raising Cane’s in either late 2024 or 2025.
Raising Cane’s is a corporate-run franchise that focuses on chicken fingers. Since opening its first store in Baton Rouge in 1996, the restaurant has developed an avid and dedicated fanbase. Raising Cane’s currently has 705 global locations.
The poultry paradise keeps its menu simple. Guests can enjoy chicken fingers or chicken sandwiches with Raising Cane’s signature Cane’s sauce. The chain offers crinkle cut fries and coleslaw as sides.
