A formidable giant in the poultry world is adding yet another restaurant to its already stacked roster. Raising Cane’s is spreading its chicken empire to Burlington Township this winter, reports local media outlet Courier Post.
Raising Cane’s is ending a remarkable year by opening a new location at the upcoming Shops at the Crossings Shopping Center. The retail mecca will be occupying the space formerly housing the Burlington Center Mall. The Raising Cane’s will be erected at the intersection of Mount Holly Road and Bromley Boulevard.
The Shops at the Crossings Shopping Center is currently being developed by MRP Industrial. Raising Cane’s is part of the project’s phase 1, which is currently under construction. While a precise date has not been announced for the restaurant’s opening, The Shops anticipate many of its phase 1 tenants to open this December.
A Raising Cane’s representative expressed enthusiasm for the impending eatery, stating “We are so excited to bring our one love – crave-able chicken finger meals – to the South Jersey area. We’ve seen so much enthusiasm for Cane’s in South Jersey already, and we can’t wait to officially become a part of the community!”
Raising Cane’s has dedicated considerable time and resources to establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with in New Jersey this year. Besides the Burlington location, the chain is actively developing stores in Marlton, Cherry Hill, Washington Township, and Deptford, with another proposed for Glassboro.
Raising Cane’s serves a simple, straight-forward menu, with the focus firmly on the chicken. Guests can choose between chicken fingers or chicken sandwiches. Customers may opt to make their order a meal by adding a side of Texas Toast, coleslaw, or crinkle cut fries. The food is made fresh to order, and completed with Raising Cane’s signature sauce.
