A rapidly expanding chicken franchise is planning to chase a productive 2023 with an even more auspicious 2024. Raising Cane’s will begin construction on a new restaurant in Lawnside next fall, reports The Patch.
The chain has not determined the precise location for its Lawnside home, however a spokesperson has confirmed the approximate timeline. The new storefront will continue Raising Cane’s powerful push into South Jersey.
The chicken juggernaut has plans to open four locations, already in development, in the first quarter of 2024. Burlington is first up, opening January 11. Marlton will follow at the end of that same month. Cherry Hill will begin serving guests in February, and hungry Deptford residents will be able to enjoy a signature chicken sandwich in March.
Raising Cane’s began life in Baton Rouge in 1996. Since its advent, the chain has grown to include over 700 locations worldwide, with restaurants in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates, as well as myriad American storefronts.
Raising Cane’s has achieved global success by keeping its menu simple. The restaurant focuses on two basic dishes-chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich. Guests can customize their meals through the selection of sides, including coleslaw, crinkle cut fries, and Texas toast. The chain’s signature Cane sauce keeps loyal fans coming back for more.
