Rios Brazilian Steakhouse, a beloved Nazareth restaurant, is turning down the heat at its 127 S. Broad St. location, which will close Sept. 14. But no worries, the restaurant is getting ready to fire up a new grill in Easton.
“For the past 17 years, Nazareth has been home. It’s where Rios was born, where we grew, and where we built a family far beyond our own. The love, kindness, and support from this community has meant the world to us. While it’s hard to say goodbye, we know this is not an ending—it’s the start of a new chapter,” the restaurant shared via Facebook.
Owned by Edson and Dina Geleski, the new downtown Easton location at 64 Centre Square Circle will offer a larger space than the former Nazareth restaurant.
“This move allows us to grow, welcome more of you, and keep building the Rios family we cherish so much,” the post continued.
The new location will seat about 200 guests across two dining rooms and a main-floor bar, with additional space for private dining on the lower level and seasonal outdoor seating. It will carry over the restaurant’s signature black-and-yellow theme and feature the same menu offerings.
The steakhouse offers a traditional Southern Brazilian churrascaria experience where diners can sample an endless rotation of seasoned meats, including beef, lamb and housemade sausages. The menu also features daily selections such as pork ribs, chicken hearts and specialty steaks.
Classic pairings include feijoada, a black bean stew with steak, pork and sausage, along with rice, mashed potatoes, chicken salad and fried bananas. Guests can enjoy their meal with a Caipirinha, Brazil’s signature cocktail, or choose from a selection of Brazilian beers and wines.
To complete the dining experience, Rios serves homemade desserts, grilled pineapple and espresso drinks, all delivered with warm, attentive service.
“We’ve been working hard to bring something special to the city of Easton, and we can’t wait to serve you there. We hope to see all of our loyal customers (and new ones too!) at our Easton location,” the post read.
