Long-time best friends Ryan McMullen and Howard Ellis are bringing a wide array of options to New Jersey sandwich lovers this summer. The partners are aiming to open Ry & Howie’s Steaks and Hoagies in Medford this August, reports local media outlet South Jersey Food Scene.
The business partners are opening the restaurant at 192 Route 70, a location that formerly housed Whole Hog Cafe. The building provides the establishment with 1,353 square feet to make a variety of sandwiches.
The official Ry & Howie’s Facebook page went live on July 7, with a post declaring its intention to open in August. Additionally, the eatery is calling for applications from potential employees.
Ry & Howie’s will focus on offering guests a range of quality sandwiches, including hoagies, burgers, cheesesteaks, and chicken cheesesteaks.
The owners state “This has been our dream for many years, striving to create an excellent sandwich destination while becoming ingrained in the community. We are passionate about quality over everything else.”
Ry & Howie’s will be open daily, from 10 am to 8 pm.
