Fishtown diners, prepare to close out the year with a fast-casual favorite. Beloved national juggernaut Shake Shack will be opening a new location in the neighborhood in late December.

The popular chain will be entering the Fishtown dining scene as a part of the Fishtown Collective, a mixed-use development. Shake Shack, which will be slinging its fan-favorite burgers and fries in a newly constructed building at 1359 Frankford Avenue, Suite 3, will be joining a forthcoming Sweetgreen and a 61-unit apartment complex in its new location.

Fishtown residents won’t have to wait much longer to sink their teeth into the concept’s signature dishes; barring any unforeseen circumstances, the eatery is set to open its doors on December 22. Shake Shack will be open daily from 11 am to 10 pm.

Founded in New York in 2001, Shake Shack has earned an ardent fan-following, thanks to its distinctive interpretations of fast-casual favorites. Future regulars can anticipate enjoying a variety of burgers, ranging from the highly complex to the incredibly basic. Those avoiding beef can grab a hot dog or chicken sandwich. Visitors with a sweet tooth can wash their meals down with one of the brand’s signature milkshakes.
