Shake Shack Coming to Middletown Plaza

The beloved chain is planning to open before the end of 2024.

A New Jersey shopping center is swapping out tacos for burgers and fries. Shake Shack has plans to open a new location in the old home of Moe’s Southwest Grill in Middletown Plaza, reports local media outlet NJ.com.

The enormously popular chain just announced its intentions for the space at 1449 Route 35, making it too early to proffer an estimated opening date. However, Shake Shack is intending to open the Middletown restaurant before the end of 2024.

Shake Shack has garnered an enormous fan following since its inception in New York in 2004. The corporate-run chain has expanded globally, with 328 locations in the United States alone. Customers flock to the chain, drawn by its menu which features fast-casual comfort food classics. Patrons can choose between a wide variety of of burgers, chicken sandwiches and tenders, hot dogs, and crinkle fries. As the name suggests, Shake Shack offers an impressive range of milkshakes for customers hoping to sate a sweet tooth.
