Philadelphians hungry for a sophisticated spot to enjoy a good meal and refined evening will soon have a new favorite destination. Mona, a new concept from restaurateur Teddy Sourias, is bringing Mediterranean cuisine and a chic atmosphere to Center City later this year, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Mona will be occupying a third floor space at 1308-10 Chestnut Street. While restaurant leadership has not yet established a precise opening date, it is aiming to greet customers this spring.
While details about the concept remain relatively scarce, Sourias and his Craft Concepts Group are certified hitmakers of the Philadelphia hospitality scene. The entrepreneur can take credit for Philly favorites like Kontrol, U-Ban, BRU Craft & Wurst, Tradesman’s, and Finn McCool’s Ale House and Uptown Beer Garden. While these establishments have a more casual air, Mona will be creating an upscale environment, certain to make it an asset of the Philadelphia dining world.
