A popular chain is preparing to set up shop in Cherry Hill. Tommy’s Tavern + Tap will be opening its second South Jersey location in spring of 2024, reports local media outlet Courier Post.

The beloved restaurant will be opening at 2050 Route 70 West in the space that used to house Houlihan’s. The family-owned chain opened its first South Jersey location in Mount Laurel earlier this year.

Thomas Bonfiglio opened the first Tommy’s in Sea Bright in 2015. The eatery has grown to include 10 locations, with eight in New Jersey, one in Delaware, and one in New York.

Tommy’s menu features a wide array of elevated bar food, as well as an impressive range of pizzas, flatbreads, and strombolis. In a departure from most taverns and brewpubs, the restaurant also serves sushi, sashimi, and poke bowls. Of course the bar offers a wide range of beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
