Every neighborhood should have at least one good bagel shop… or two. Camden County shoppers will soon have a new choice for their morning and lunch bagels with the addition of Spread Bagelry coming to Towne Place at Garden State Park in Cherry Hill.

The shopping center’s new tenant was confirmed by Joe Morris, the executive vice president of M&M Realty Partners, who told the Courier Post that the company doesn’t have an official opening date at 999 Haddonfield Rd. but that they are “working on it and excited about its opening.” Spread Bagelry is a Philadelphia-based bagel and sandwich brand that serves Montreal-style wood oven-baked bagels.

“We make our bagels in the tradition of the bakers who brought their old-world recipes from Eastern Europe to Montreal in the early 1900s,” their Linkedin page states.

Spread Bagelry boils their bagels in honeyed water and bakes them in small batches in their wood-fired ovens throughout the day for maximum freshness. The bagels are then liberally coated with toppings. Spread Bagelry also roasts their sandwich meats in their wood ovens. All of their spreads are made in-house using fresh local ingredients. At Spread Bagelry, you’ll find unique cream cheese flavors like Jalapeno Lime and Pistachio Honey. They also serve all-day breakfast sandwiches, signature sandwiches, hot drinks, iced drinks, and tea.

The Cherry Hill Spread Bagelry will be the brand’s first New Jersey store. According to their website, Spread Bagelry currently has five Philadelphia stores at Rittenhouse, UPenn, South Street, Walnut Street, and 16th Street. They also have a location in Bryn Mawr and Wayne.
