Cumberland County is bringing a fresh infusion of caffeine and baked goods to a developing commercial center. Starbucks will be opening a new store, complete with a drive-thru, in Millville, reports local media outlet 42 Freeway.

The beloved coffee giant will be taking up 2,240 square feet at the intersection of Route 47 and Cumberland Crossing Boulevard. The drive-thru will be engineered to support up to 17 cars. Starbucks will be one of the star attractions of the shopping center which is being developed by Paramount Realty.

The project is still in the incredibly preliminary phases, precluding the possibility of proffering an estimated opening for Starbucks. No Planning Board hearings have yet been scheduled.

To date, only Starbucks and Raising Cane’s have been announced as tenants for the new development. Paramount Realty is actively seeking vendors to join the shopping center, and Starbucks will serve as a great draw to other potential participants. The coffee juggernaut has an ardent following and the presence of a drive-thru is certain to bring even greater business to the area.
