Atlantic City, get ready to be Starr struck this summer. Stephen Starr, one of Philadelphia’s busiest hospitality vets, is debuting a brand-new concept called Sunny’s at the Ocean Casino Resort, and it’s bringing decadent comfort food to visitors, reports Foobooz.
The restaurant will be serving up breakfast and lunch in a bright, casual setting at 500 Boardwalk. Located at the lobby level of Ocean Casino Resort, Sunny’s food will be matched by its unrivaled atmosphere. The press release concerning the opening explains what diners can look forward to, saying: “Perched eleven stories above the Atlantic Ocean, this airy eatery offers sundrenched views and a serene ambience with both bar and table seating.”
Of course, Starr aficionados know the cuisine alone is worth the cost of admission. Described as re-imaginings of classic comfort foods, the menu will offer: “Beloved dishes such as the pigs in a blanket, Nutella French toast, lobster roll, classic meatloaf and more are sure to satisfy a wide range of palates.”
Sunny’s will be opening in early August; the restaurant will begin taking reservations on August 1. While walk-ups are accepted, space permitting, the website encourages future customers to make reservations.
