Sweet Talk Cafe, a new gourmet dessert and coffee shop will be taking over the former SJ Music venue in Whitman Square, located at 5600 NJ-42 in Turnersville, with plans to open early next year according to local media outlet 42 Freeway, which first reported the story yesterday, Nov 16.
A representative of Sweet Talk Cafe did not immediately return a request for comment.
Dubbed a “dessert cafe,” the new shop comes courtesy of local confectioner Lynsey Longwith DeSimone, who currently runs her operation under the Instagram profile, Lyns Simply Sweet Goodies.
According to Sweet Talk’s Facebook page, DeSimone will be offering some signature favorites such as the cannoli cupcakes and lemon cupcakes with buttercream, as well a few vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. What’s more, she’ll be teaming up with local coffee roasters, Ocean City Coffee Company, “to offer the best to our customers.”
