Lehigh Valley diners, get ready to live mas. After receiving approval nearly a year and a half ago, Taco Bell is in full-on construction mode in South Bethlehem, reports local media outlet 69 News.

The 2,722 square foot restaurant will be a ground-up development located at 1620 East Fourth Street. An opening timeline is not currently available for the Lehigh Valley’s latest Taco Bell, however construction appears to be moving relatively rapidly. It is likely locals will be able to enjoy a cheesy gordita crunch before the year is out.

The store will be helmed by the Summerwood Corporation, a franchise group behind several regional Taco Bells.

The storefront brings with it several improvements to the immediate surrounding area, including the addition of a parking lot for up to 32 cars and upgrades to lighting, utilities, and landscaping.

Taco Bell’s been a fast-casual favorite since its debut on the scene in 1962 in Downey, California. It sets itself apart from the standard burgers and fries the industry is known for by offering Mexican-inspired fare, including tacos (of course), quesadillas, and burritos. The chain has a staggering 8,757 locations worldwide.
