The Capital Grille has set its sights on Bucks County. The fine-dining establishment has submitted a conditional use application for space in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, reports Patch News.
The Capital Grille is also requesting a liquor license transfer from Warrington to Newtown Township. The meeting determining the approvals will be held in June.
The Capital Grille’s application proposes housing a 236 table establishment in the 8,000 square foot area formerly occupied by Pier One Imports.
If approved, the restaurant will contain a main, public dining room, three private dining rooms, and a horseshoe bar flanked by tables. The plans also call for an outdoor patio with seating for 24 guests.
The Village at Newtown is located at 2800 South Eagle Road. The Newtown restaurant would be the Capital Grille’s first Bucks County location, and the fourth in Pennsylvania. The upscale establishment currently has facilities in Pittsburgh, King of Prussia, and Philadelphia. The Capital Grille has 63 locations across the United States.
The restaurant, founded in 1990, serves gourmet dishes like lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and bone in ribeye steak.
