Delaware families will soon have a new favorite hangout. Two The Nest Play Cafes will be opening in Middletown and Dover later this summer.

The Nest Play Cafe will open its first location in Middletown at 5350 Summit Bridge Road, Unit 11 in June. A second Dover location is slated for later in the summer. An address has not yet been announced.

The Nest Play Cafe provides a safe play area for children between the ages of 0 and 6 years. A press release provided to What Now Philadelphia describes the play area, stating it “will include soft play structures, sensory play zones, climbing structures, imaginative play areas, and more, all designed to promote physical, social, and cognitive development in young children.”

The Nest will offer classes for both parents and children. The space will also be available for interested guests to rent out for private parties.

The cafe will serve pastries, specialty coffees, and a variety of fresh snacks. The building provides wi-fi access so accompanying adults can work while their children play.

Successful journalist Ashley Rice founded The Nest Play Cafe as an educational and relaxing space for both parents and children. Rice states “”I am thrilled to bring The Nest Play Cafe to Delaware, and as there is nothing like it…I understand the need for a place where families can come together, connect, and create lasting memories. The Nest Play Cafe will be a haven for parents and caregivers to relax while their kids play, and I am excited to provide this unique experience to the community.”
