Wake up, West Chester. An acclaimed Pennsylvania brewery is setting its sights on the neighborhood for a new location;Tired Hands Brewing is including the region in its expansion plans, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The brewery, owned and operated by Jean Broillet IV, has not yet revealed the specifics of the West Chester real estate it has its eye on. While the precise location remains a bit mysterious, Broillet states that Tired Hands has been zeroed in on a specific site for quite some time, ensuring that it will bring something unique and new to the brand’s presence, stating: “there’s nothing like it that I know of that exists in the States…It’s the most unlikely spot you could ever imagine for a craft brewery, but I think that we can make it work.”
While this does not provide a particularly succinct potential opening timeline, Broillet has established that Tired Hands is working on zoning for the new location.
Tired Hands is no stranger to the Pennsylvania brewing scene. The company poured its first drought in 2011 in Ardmore. The brewery has earned an avid fan following through its commitment to superior beer; the website offers this insight, saying: “We’re passionate about innovation and brewing uniquely American ales and Belgian-inspired Saisons with bold, unique flavors you won’t find anywhere else. We believe that great beer is the result of fresh ingredients from local suppliers who care about providing quality goods for their customers; it’s the result of an experienced brew team with taste and precision at making fine, small-batch beers that uphold quality over quantity.”
