Next spring, the gourmet toast and juice shop, Toastique, will make its Tampa debut on the ground floor of Water Street’s Cora Residences at 1011 E Cumberland Ave, courtesy of local father-and-son franchisees, Arturo and Adrian Lojo.

Adrian Lojo was not immediately available to provide a comment, however, in a feature on Toastique’s website, the budding restaurateur explained, “We were looking for alternatives that fit more into our personal priorities,” adding, “If I had a Toastique two minutes from my house, I know I would be there all the time.”

Toastique’s flagship café was founded in 2018 by Brianna Keefe, whose “passion for creating healthy snacks to sustain her through rigorous training as a collegiate D1 athlete [inspired] her to open a wellness-focused gourmet café featuring all-natural smoothies, juices, and uniquely customizable toast creations piled high with nutritious ingredients,” according to the company’s website.

By 2021, Toastique had launched its first franchise partnership in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, with more locations opening in Denver, Reno, and Las Vegas shortly thereafter.

To date, the brand operates eleven locations spread across D.C. and Virginia, Utah, Orlando, and Colorado, with more outposts in those territories as well as, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, and California planned through the end of next year.
