Chewk’s Cookies, a beloved cookie company that serves chewy cookies, hence the name, is opening a food truck in Tempe.

Co-owners Hunter Breshears and Mike Blum recently opened a storefront at 1215 E. Missouri Avenue, but they are also planning to open a new Chewks food trailer at Arizona State University this fall, according to Phoenix New Times. Customers can expect a variety of delicious chewy cookies once it’s open. This isn’t the first food truck for the company, as Blum, who recently got married and moved to Fayetteville, opened a Chewk’s trailer and uses it to visit the University of Arkansas campus. Now, ASU is getting one too.

“We want to reach everyone,” Breshears tells Phoenix New Times. “My dream is to be a part of someone’s life cycle — from their first birthday party to their wedding, baby shower, and beyond.”

Chew’s recently launched its first brick-and-mortar store at the Fredrick on Missouri, a neighborhood retail center set in a redeveloped 1960s mid-century building. While the store is only 350 square feet with patio seating, it’s just the beginning for the company, which also recently launched a food truck in Fayetteville. Once they establish a site at ASU, they want to expand the concept to other college campuses nationwide, offering their delicious cookies, such as red velvet and chocolate chip, to students across America.

“Our handcrafted cookies are the epitome of taste and quality,” according to the company’s website. “With a relentless pursuit of excellence and years of meticulous refinement, Chewk’s has earned its seat on the throne as the best cookie company ever. Indulge in our scrumptious treats and come experience the home we have created through cookies.”
